Mini-Program Update Mechanism

After developers publish a new version of a mini-program in the management backend, users may still open the old version if they have it stored locally.

Asynchronous Update on Startup

Even if no update is found before startup, the mini-program checks asynchronously for updates every time it is cold started. If a new version is detected, the code package for the new version will be downloaded asynchronously. However, the current cold startup will still use the locally stored old version of the code. The new version of the mini-program will only be used after the next cold startup.

Note

After developers publish a new version in the backend, it cannot immediately affect all existing users.
